Dr. Ed Ellerbeck is a professor in the Department of Population Health at University of Kansas Medical Center. His research has focused on better ways to deliver preventive services. He co-developed a robust rural primary care research network and has leveraged that network to develop, implement and test strategies to improve smoking cessation, treat obesity and screen for cancer. He has an extensive track record of mentoring junior faculty and directed the research training core for the Frontiers Clinical and Translational Science Institute.
