Dr. Forseth is an exercise physiologist assistant professor in the Department of Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation Science, and Athletic Training at KU Medical Center. Dr. Forseth completed her doctoral training in Health Science at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a held a postdoctoral fellowship position in the Department of Pediatrics at KU Medical Center and Center for Children's Healthy Lifestyles & Nutrition with a focus on pediatric obesity.

Dr. Forseth's research leverages healthy lifestyle behaviors to improve cardiometabolic health (e.g., obesity, type 2 diabetes) in children and families. She is currently working to understand how intervention engagement impacts treatment outcomes and is working to apply adaptive intervention designs to the field of pediatric obesity treatments.
